I began to realised that the more I'm close to Allah, to began to realised that my mind is more clearer. I began to thirst knowledge more. I began to pick up books. Strangely what inspired me was a movie "Limitless". In the movie the man actor had become addicted to a drug that enhance his brain. It opens up his brain to access parts of his brain that he never knew existed. This is based on the theory that human usually can access 20% of his brain capability. When the brain can be more powerful tool if human can access 100% of its capability.
So, what does it had to do with my enlightenment? I remembered that knowledge is a light (nur) from Allah. Only by Allah's permission that the secrets of the world is opened to us. Allah is the source of every know. I realised that these time when I was so far away from Allah, my mind is far from clear. I can't think straight. My mind is clouded. Idea refused to fill my head. And the result is a writers block.
What is bothering me now is the question of time. Thanks to Dian who spurs the inquisitive part of me that refused to let a question go without a good answer. That's me, a simple question without an answer really can kept me up all night. especially if the question is mind challenging and it could have an interesting answer. yes, I believe that I am a philosopher by nature. I like to ask why. And when someone challenges my brains it really drives me nuts.
So, now is the ultimate question. What is time? It is an entity that was created by Allah. It is describe by Him in his verse 'Al-As'. It tells that human is in fact in a lost if the time that he is given by Allah is wasted and not used to worship him or preach good advice to all that is around us.
There is two kinds of thinkers when discussing on the subject of time. 1: Those who thinks that time is like space. Meaning that even thou a past is an event that happened, it is still there. Like space, if your from Johor and when to Kedah. Johor is still there and you can go back to Johor. Same with events. Even thou the Independence of Malaya happens in 1957, the event still there happening; in other words, it is internal.
The other camp said that time is dynamic, a time line that said, when an event had happened then is gone and stop from happening but it doesn't mean that you can go back to experience it.
Still it doesn't answer the question of 'What is time?'
This question is interesting and i know it will bring me to even more interesting answers.
