I'm a believer of Democratic Fairness. I believe that to enable a democratic system to work it must be done in fairly. Am I an opposition? No, I am non-partisan. I say that without fairness the people will lost faith with the system and may resort to other violent way of expressing themselves. Look at Egypt. Why that its people resort to street protesting? Because they didn't believe in the system anymore.
So the ruling party must gave a fair party, adhere to the opposition demand. Show them that the election had been run fairly. Give the people assurance that fairness does happens in our system. Failure to address the people demands will result in chaos. Remember the days where the government know best is over. That is what the prime minister said.
So, those out there who still hasn't register or vote, please vote. Who you vote is not of my concern. Just vote for fairness.

Roller Coaster Day
This couple of days has been a roller coaster rider for me. Yesterday my wife told me that she is experiencing bleeding. At first I didn't think it was anything serious. Then when she got to school and told some friends about it, they told her to call the hospital, which she did. The nurse told her to quickly go to the hospital. She did that and then the doctor admitted her to ward. As soon as she told me, I quickly ran out of the office to Hospital Serdang.
Really all this is given quite a fright. Thank Allah everything is alright. The doctor didn't seem to find more reason to keep her in the ward and discharge her this evening. What really pissed me of is the hospital stupid regulations. That is the reason that I hate government hospital. Too much regulations that aren't necessary. Like can't bring children to the ward on weekdays but it is okay on weekends? What was that all about?
But there is one thing that I like to highlight. That the quality of the service is improving on the friendly aspects. So, I'm not going to crucifix them for today.
I also realise something from all this. I do love my wife very much. I still can remember the heaviness of my heart as I walk away from her to leave her there alone at the ward. And had a great time with my boy. Still I wouldn't like to go thought it all again.

Who You Are?
I met a couple who were both government officers. They are from the PTD scheme. I was quite taken a bit when the wife straight away told me that she was a PTD officer, when I don't really want to be that specific. I didn't tell them who I am cause I don't need see the need to. I just tell them where I work and once he (the husband) told me that he once work at the KPTG office of Penang, I straight away mention a few names that is in my batch indirectly told them who I am.
Why? Cause, what you do for a living should have made you into an active member of the society not a mare no one. you are chosen by the government to be among the finest among the selected few. But here are you being no one. I'm not saying that I was an outstanding member of society but at least I can write down that I am active member of a committee that is not in a certain government body.
Really, it saddens me sometimes when thinking that PTDs are selected to become leaders but as soon as they return home from work, they isolates themselves from society and become nobody outsides of the office. Again, I stress that it doesn't mean that I am expecting we become a President of any society but an active contributing member. Prove it to the people that had chosen you that you are the leader type not some dorky I just following orders kind of type.
Eventhou it is true PTDs are managers but still again PTDs are selected because of their leadership potentials. What better way to enhance it by becoming a leader outside of your position of power?
What is the point of this ranting? I am saying that you should be ashamed of you job if you are not an active contributor to the society outside of your office. If all of that bravado at the office are because of your position and not because of your charisma. In other words JPA had made a mistake for taking you in.

Writer's Block
I don't know why but I've been experiencing writer's block for years. As you can see the last entry was actually what, three years ago? man that long. I wasn't sure why. But I decided that and feel that my block is over and now, I'm hitting the blank pages again.
Strange, I even wonder myself why. just like that my brain just switch off. I've been reading a lot but somehow i just stop writing, not entirely, I did a few article on my new hobby which is Scuba Diving. Maybe it was family? Or maybe all this new new place or one of the most dreadful thing is that I lost my reason to live. Well, that doesn't mean I'm about to commit suicide or something. it's just that you lost that fighting edge. I mean you got all that you want. All that you have been dreaming is already or can be readily achieve.
I've realised that i need a new horizon, new ambition new goals. I always wanted to run the marathon but I never had the time to run. some people said, "Well, make time" I said, "Well, I had weekends but that too is for my family". I admit it, I'm a family guy. I'm willing to leave my office for my son and wife. yeah, I'm not the true blue civil servant that willing to sacrifice his/her family for the good of the nation. I put my family first. Hey! I'm not saying it is wrong to put your nation first. that is up to you. It's your stand. be firm. it's your life value. me. I value family.
Why? because my son is growing up so fast. One time i was holding him and he just lied there in my arms. Now! his running around and telling me stories in just 3 years! I'm not going to miss all that. I'm going to cherish every single day with him and the soon to be born baby. Yup, a second one is coming this November! no matter if it is a girl or a boy. I'll love him/her still.
There you go, just to break the block. Hopefully there's more to come. Because, this my be a reference someday in my biography. Who knows, I could end up being somebody or doing something great someday in the future. The people will want to know who is their hero! Hahaha!
End.
